The aim of the ESVS Research Grant is to facilitate research projects conducted by young European vascular surgeons. The amount of each grant will be limited in order to allow as many grants as possible to be approved and to help the maximum number of young surgeons. Allocation of the grants will be decided ultimately by the Scientific Committee set up to consider the merits of each application.
The maximum amount of funds allocated to the ESVS Research Grant will be decided by Council each year The amount awarded to each successful applicant will be in accordance with the type of research and total amount of funds required to undertake the research. In cases where the Society finances part of the research project only, the applicant will receive agreement for a given amount; however, this amount will be paid only when the applicant has provided formal confirmation of funds from other sources of finance which cover the whole cost of the project. |
